The Building a Legacy Lego exhibit is on display until April at BRTC in Pocahontas.

Building A Legacy” a display of LEGO bricks is the latest exhibit in the BRTC student-led mini-museum, Cabinet of Curiosities, on the Paragould campus.

Dr. Dianna Fraley’s US History to 1876 and World Civilizations to 1660 classes participated in creating and curating the exhibit.  The students researched and wrote an essay on the history of LEGO bricks, and several students brought LEGO sets to exhibit.

The exhibit features a LEGO “Death Star” from the Star Wars collection, a “Mustang” from the Classic Cars collection, the “White House” from the Architecture collection, and the “Great Hall” from Hogwarts Castle of the Harry Potter Collection. Dr. Fraley encourages students, staff, and community members to “stop by and check out the awesome exhibits and find out who invented LEGO bricks and the history of the company.”

The exhibit will be on display through April 2022, and is free and open to the public during campus hours.  The exhibit was made possible by a grant from The Arkansas Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
