Mrs. Lockhart’s class advanced art class at Cave City Middle School has been focusing on building drawing skills, starting with contour drawings. The blind contour drawings got a lot of laughs. Her wheel classes worked hard on creating zentangles utilizing the elements of art learned about earlier in the nine weeks. They are wrapping up their lesson about Disney artist Mary Blair by practicing using a variety of materials on one piece. The class talked about the different types of art careers and how they aren’t limited to teaching or fine art.
