The North Arkansas Education Service Cooperative (NAESC) partnered with Ozarka College to host a regional STEM Expo. Held on Ozarka’s Melbourne campus, the event brought approximately 1,300 students grades 6-12, from 15 area schools.

During the event, students chose two industry presentations to attend and visited with over 40 different exhibitors.

Exhibitors included faculty from Ozarka technical programs, other regional colleges, as well as regional industries such as Emerson, North Arkansas Electric Cooperative, Intimidator, Bad Boy, White River Health System, Future Fuel, and many more.

“We are extremely proud to partner with our colleagues at the education co-op to offer this important opportunity at Ozarka for students in the region,” said Dr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka president.

Special thanks go out to Dr. Monica Mobley, STEM Coordinator for NAESC for leading the coordinated effort, NAESC and Ozarka staff for their hard work in setup and running the event, and all exhibitors. Ozarka also appreciates local on-site support for student and staff lunches provided by area businesses.
