Fulton County Sheriff’s Department invites public to enjoy free hot dogs on Fourth of July

Tammy Curtis, Managing Editor

Nothing say’s Fourth of July like hot dogs and fireworks. While the fireworks will be held at dark from The Knob at Salem, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department would like to invite the public to the square at 6 p.m. July 4 for free hot dogs and water.

Sheriff Joe Boshears said “It will be a great time to meet some of the new officers and learn about the Arkansas High Five Rural Safety Project the department is participating in.”

The deputies have purchased 400 hot dogs and look forward to meeting area residents. This community outreach is funded solely by the officers and no county funds are being used for the event.

So, stop by and say hello and enjoy the evening with a free hot dog and free water donated by the Bank of Salem.
