Over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission’s Enforcement
division worked 2,529 man hours to help everyone stay safe. They only had to arrest 13 individuals for Boating While Intoxicated. They also arrested a third-time violator. Out of 3,947 boats contacted, Enforcement officers issued 291 warnings and 161 citations, meaning nearly twice as many warnings as actual tickets were written.
