A search is underway in Fulton County for 13-year-old Joselyn Marie Hancock of Camp, who was reported missing Sunday, Sept. 28, around noon by her family.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement Monday, Sept. 29, around 10:30 a.m., saying Hancock is believed to have left on foot and may have packed a bag containing clothing and food.
The Arkansas State Police have also issued a Missing Person Advisory for Hancock.
“Investigators are currently inspecting one electronic device for possible clues. The woods and fields around the area are still being searched. Arkansas State Police are providing assistance as well,” Sheriff Jake Smith said.
Hancock is described as a white female, approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing about 110 pounds, with blond hair.

Family members said in social media posts that they do not know whether Hancock left the area on foot or was picked up by someone.

Smith said the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Hancock, with assistance from Arkansas State Police.
