Highland Rebel Owen Hyslip was named Player of the Game in the Rebels win 69-67 win over Lincoln in the recent Ronnie Brogdon Bad Boy Mowers Invitational Tournament at Highland. The Ronnie and Kay Brogdon Family took to the floor of the AL Hutson Memorial Gymnasium for the Bad Boy Mowers Ronnie Brogdon Invitational Basketball Tournament recently. The Salem Greyhound football team was recognized on Feb. 5 at the State Capitol. State Representative Trey Steimel provided the team and coaches with a tour of the capitol. They then were treated to lunch near the Capitol by White River Leak Detection. After lunch they returned to the Capitol and attended a House Session. During this session, Steimel read a resolution that recognized the team as 2024 3A State Champions.
On Feb. 5 Highland All-State and All-Conference Senior Kalei Tokanang signed to play football at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas.
