The Fulton County Fair Foundation awarded scholarships to five graduating seniors totaling $7,500. Scholarships were awarded to Lauren Skaggs and Savannah Chance of Mammoth Spring High School, Ashley Neal and Peyton Love of Viola High School and Adrianna Bagwell of Salem High School. Fair Foundation scholarships are fund-ed by the Decorated Cookie Jar Auction held during the Fulton County Fair and by do-nations.
Mammoth Spring High School’s Rebecca Frealy was the only student in Arkansas to qualify for FCCLA Nationals Level Three Competition A Team. The event will be held in in Denver, Col. Elayna Russell, 15, brought home a national pageant title over the weekend. She was crowned the 2022 Miss Diamond National USA at the national pageant held July 13-16 at Connor’s Performing Arts Center in Little Rock. Russell has been involved in many community service projects attends Mammoth Spring High School where she is also active in several activities.
