The Highland Show Team competed with their livestock at the Sharp County Fair recently. Collectively, the team brought home four Overall Champions, seven Reserve Overall Champions, seven - Grand Champions, two Reserve Champions, and seven Showmanship wins.

The Sharp County Fair Board will hold a Show and Swap Saturday, April 9 at the Fairgrounds. There will be a Car and Tractor Show with a $5 entry fee. Registration will begin at 11 a.m. The show starts at 1 pm, with awards being presented at 4 p.m. Awards will include Best of Show, Crowd Favorite, Oldest and Most Original. An Agriculture Swap Meet will also be held during the show.…
