Hunter Taylor will be the new Highland High School Resource Officer. He is a 2013 graduate of Calico Rock High School and was most recently employed at the Sharp County Sheriff’s office.
Another new position that is that of a CSSO (Commissioned School Safety Officer). Mark Stephen will be joining our team as a manager of our School Security Department. You will see him on all three campuses. He’s a retired police officer (30 years) and retired from the military after 20 years of service. He has most recently served as the SRO and criminal justice teacher in the Calico Rock School District.
The District is happy to have these guys joining their school this year to work with teachers and get to know the kids and be sure that we are all safe on campus.
