A month long fishing contest to benefit the Highland Trap Team began on May 1 and will continue through May 31.The entry fee is $20 per fish, entrants may enter as many fish as they would like but only the largest counts. The $20 must be paid before the fish is weighed at the Sportsman Edge in Ash Flat or the Rebel Gun and Pawn in Hardy. Fish can be caught by any legal method in a lake, pond or river. At the end of the month, there will be$100 drawing for the biggest bass and catfish. All proceeds will benefit the Highland Trap Team. For more information, call 870-994-3651 or 870-751-0332.
