Ozarka College Transitions to an Independent Registered Nursing Program

Ozarka College has received initial approval from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing to offer an LPN to RN Associate of Applied Science Degree in Registered Nursing program. Beginning in January 2024, the Registered Nursing program will transition from consortium membership to an in-dependent program. This new program will provide an opportunity for Ozarka College to better serve its students by offering face-to-face instruction and in-creased interaction with nursing faculty. Applications for the 2024 class will be accepted June 1,2023 through August31, 2023. To be eligible to apply for the program, applicants must be a Licensed Practical Nurse or currently enrolled in an LPN program with a completion date prior to the end of the current calendar year. In addition, all program pre-requisites must be completed by December2023 with a 2.5 GPA or greater.
