Letters of Intent to bid on delivery services requested

The White River Area Agency on Aging, Inc. is requesting Letters of Intent to Bid on delivery of Senior Adult Services to eligible clients in Cleburne, Fulton, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Sharp, Stone, Van Buren, White, or Woodruff Counties of Arkansas.

The project period is July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027. The Area Agency on Aging reserves the right to contract with its contractors for yearly renewal for two additional years without a formal proposal process.

Services will be provided in accordance with rules and regulations of the Older Americans Act, Social Services Block Grant, The United States Department of Agriculture, and the Arkansas Department of Human Services – Division of Aging, Adult and Behavioral Health Services. The services to be delivered from a community Senior Adult Center are: Congregate Meals, Home­ Delivered Meals, Transportation, Socialization and Health Promotion.

All Letters of Intent to Bid must be submitted on Area Agency on Aging forms and in accordance with the Area Agency on Aging Letter of Intent to Bid specifications. Letters of Intent packets may be obtained Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., at the Area Agency on Aging Office located at 3998 Harrison Street, Batesville, Arkansas, 72501, or by calling 870-612-3000.

Letters of Intent to Bid must be received no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024. The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable equal employment opportunity laws and regulations. The Area Agency on Aging reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
