At around 8:30 p.m this evening, Oct. 28 double homicide suspect-Jacob Lowell J. Smith, 32, was taken into custody in Greene County by the U.S. Marshals, Arkansas State Police, Greene County Sheriff Department and Paragould Police Department.
J Smith, 32, is the prime suspect in the murders of Tonya and Ashley Stallings of Ash Flat. The women were killed in a home at Agnos in Fulton County, Arkansas between Oct. 20-21. A truck and two guns were also stolen from the home.
The suspect also has a felony warrant for absconding from the requirements of his probation or parole.
He is currently at the Greene County Jail. He will likely be tranferred or transported to the Fulton County Detention Center for questioning in the case.
