Ozark Folk Center State Park to offer two summer craft apprenticeships

The Ozark Folk Center State Park is offering two business of craft apprenticeships for the summer of2023. Opportunities are available in leatherwork, knifemaking, letterpress printing, stained glass, gardening and other heritage crafts. These apprenticeships are being offered to students 16 and older. Country Quilters Guild sets meeting

Country Quilters Quilt Guild will meet on Wed.  March 8, at the Miller Hickinbotham building in Salem at 9:30 a.m.. The business meeting to follow at 10 a.m. A light luncheon will follow the meeting. The March  project will be quilted casserole carriers to fit a 9 x11 pan. Diane Sushinsky and Nancy Newman will demonstrate this project. Supplies for the project will be listed in Feb newsletter.
