The Highland Show Team competed with their livestock at the Sharp County Fair recently. Collectively, the team brought home four Overall Champions, seven Reserve Overall Champions, seven - Grand Champions, two Reserve Champions, and seven Showmanship wins.
A fun time was had by all at the Cherokee Village Elementary School Kindergarten Meet and Greet July 12. Incoming kindergartners met their teachers, made new friends while enjoying the bounce house, and had popcorn and popsicles. Anyone who hasn’t registered their child for the 22-23 kindergarten school year may stop by the central office Monday through Friday to get signed up. The first day of school for kindergarten is August 17.

Certified Nursing Assistant students completed a recent course at Ozarka College. Recently Ozarka College held a three week Certified Nursing Assistant continuing education course.
