Submitted PhotoTwo of Highland High Schools CDE Teams have qualified for the State CDE Competitions in Fayetteville in April. They are the Vet Science and Farm Business Management. Also, member and officer, Isaac Gregory placed third individually in the Ag. Mechanics Competition out of 76 individuals. Photo SubmittedThe Highland Show Team did an awesome job at the Maynard Livestock Show on March 6. Cort Murphy received Grand Champion Angus Bull and Supreme Bull. Molly Cherry received first place with her American Commercial Heifer. Emma Brink received second place with her English Commercial Heifer and made it to the final championship drive of Senior Showmanship.
Brandon Ryburn State Farm Insurance will be awarding three $500 scholarships. The Brandon Ryburn Good Neighbor Scholarship will be given to three area high school seniors who capture the spirit of what it means to be a Good Neighbor. Scholarship applications will be available for pick up in the office on March 14 and must be returned by April 30, 2022.
