The Sharp County Angel Tree applications may be picked up Oct. 31-Nov. 4 at the Sharp County DHS office. Sharp County tax auction results given

The recent auction of tax-delinquent properties in Sharp County raised over $362,000, the Commissioner of State Lands announced.The auction drew 73 bidders, who purchased 280 of the 3,099 available parcels for a total of $362,020.61 for county and state government.The Land Commissioner’s office holds one auction in each county each year to return tax-delinquent property to active status.
