Butch Dail has been BRTC’s Automotive Collision Technology instructor for over 34 years. He began his tenure at Black River Vo-Tech in 1987 before the school became Black River Technical College in 1991.
Dail truly loves his job; he states, “I can honestly say there is no better place to be employed than BRTC. I personally enjoy being part of the BRTC family and touching the lives of so many students over the years as well as some of the friends I have gained here over the years are irreplaceable. I truly find it so rewarding to be able to help someone who is willing to help themselves. I have found that teaching is a calling, not just a job. I will say that being here each day is something I truly look forward to.”
Dail has been married to his wife, Doris, for 49 years. They have three children: Scotty, Anthony, and Angela. They have five grandchildren, Zack, Colton, Landon, Kayden and Dawson, and two great grandchildren, Adlee and McKinley Grace.
In addition to working at BRTC and taking care of his family, Dail is a community volunteer. Dail has served on the Ravenden City Council, as Ravenden Fire Chief, and is the song leader at Ravenden Baptist Church.
