Sat. Oct. 8 from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. at Hardy First Baptist Church. Regina Willard’s Acrylic Workshop. This well- known, award-winning artist will teach all skill levels how to build a strong, expressive painting with an underpainting of shapes and lines; and give life to it by adding vivid colors to create a floral of sunflowers. $25 nonrefundable deposit to reserve a seat, which are limited. $75 total class fee. Every Thursday in October (7, 13, 20, 27 Music at the Gazebo on the 2 level of Cherokee Village Town Center. Bring your family, friends, and chairs to enjoy a variety of country, gospel and pop music. Oct. 6- Doug and Mitch, Seven Hollows, Oct. 20- Osage Water, Oct. 27- McMickle Brothers. Free but donations are appreciated.

Every second Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. artists teach fun techniques for creating various types of artworks.
Every third Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Photography enthusiasts meet to discuss techniques and show their beautiful photos. Beginners’ welcome. Call or text Keith at 870-283-1037.
Every fourth Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sewing experts teach basic to advanced skills with various projects. Call Charlotte or Eli at 530-210-5414.
Ceramics Studio – wheel and hand building. Every Monday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. An ongoing ceramics studio for beginners through advanced skill levels. $20 weekly, $65 monthly. Call Ken at 702-426-0362.
