The Highland School District received a donation to their backpack program again this year from the Arkansas Hunters Feeding the Hungry program. AHFH was established to:-Let Arkansans share the harvest of an abundant resource with Arkansans who are hungry-Provide a much needed FREE, low-fat, high protein food source to the many feeding agencies and organizations across Arkansas-Create a “Provider Purpose” for hunters who participate, allowing them to give back and share their blessings with others-Partner with the Game and Fish Commission in order to provide a solution for a healthy, balanced deer herd The district expressed their appreciation to Nathan Circle and Renee Clay-Circle, Circle Farms, and Mike Watson State Farm Agency for sponsoring our donation this year – 2,000 wild game meat sticks are readily available for weekly food backpack program across their campuses
