Fulton County Hospital Foundation awards scholarships

Fulton County Hospital Foundation awarded $500 scholarships to three recent high school graduates who are pursuing careers in the medical field. Rachel Dearth graduated from Salem High School in May. She studies nursing at Arkansas State University-Mountain Home. Daniel Haley graduated from Izard County Consolidated High School in May. He will attend the University of Arkansas in the fall to study sports medicine. Allison Webber graduated from Highland High School in May. She will attend Arkansas State University in the fall to study pre-med biology. Applications for next year’s scholarship program will be available through high school counselors’ offices in April. In addition to scholarships, the foundation raises funds for the hospital. Donations may be mailed to FCHF; P.O.
