 The Hardy History Association announces a preview of the Hardy Homesteader’s Day at their next public meeting at 5:30 p.m. Thur., Sept. 5 at the Johnson Center, 304 Johnson Street, in Hardy, Arkansas.

The program features Crystal Gray, chairperson of the Hardy Homesteaders Day event, presenting a preview of the annual fun-filled event scheduled for the last Saturday in September. Hardy Homesteaders Day celebrates ways of life from the late 1800’s with demonstrations of homesteading skills and much more. Crystal will have photos depicting what to expect: wood stove cooking, butter churning, candle making and more. The program will include a preview of the other fun activities ranging from beard and costume contests, raffles, and lucky prizes to children’s activities and musical performances at four different stages. Mark your calendar for Sept. 5 to learn all about the upcoming 32nd annual event where you can step back in time at Hardy Homesteaders Day.
