Awards were presented at Cave City Fire Department Christmas Awards Banquet. This year’s Firefighter of the Year, an award voted on by the other firefighters, recipient was Billy Corter. Corter (center) also was awarded the Stormin’ Norman Achievement Award. The following firefighters were given awards for their years of service: Scott Wooldridge-30 years; Billy Corter-20 years; Mitch Kazee-5 years and Michael Stanley-10 Years.”These firefighters and their families are an unbelievable asset to our community,  All of them serve with honor, courage, tradition and integrity.  I am proud to serve as their Chief,” Billy Penn said.
