After a year-long joint investigation by the Third and 16th Judicial Drug Task Force, Cave City Police Department and the Sharp County Sheriff’s Department, four Cave City residents have been arrested on various drug charges.
On Jan. 29, the agencies executed two search warrants; the first was conducted at 204 Blackstone Street in Cave City.
The second was executed at 601 Flat Rock Road in Cave City.
At the Blackstone address, Thomas Brandin Corter, 40, was arrested for the Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Drug Premise within 1000 feet of a drug-free zone.
Kristin Joelle Malatin, 38, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Maintaining a Drug Premise within 1000 feet of a drug-free zone.
Brandy Lynn Stracner, 46, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Drug Premise Within 1000 feet of a drug-free zone.
At the Flat Rock Road address, Zane Butler Turner, 32 was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine-greater than two grams but less than 10 grams, Possession of a Schedule I or II Controlled substance- Opium- more significant than two grams but less than 28 grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Maintaining a Drug Premise.
The search warrant yielded a total of approximately 23 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 27 grams of opium, one firearm, and one vehicle.
