The Spring River’s Got Talent show, which will be held on Sept. 17 at the Hardy Civic Center, is holding an art contest during the event with a prize of a $100 gift certificate to Biggers Bar Grill and Inn. Anyone can enter but they must attend the event.
Here are the rules for the contest: 1) Create some kind of art piece that spells out: Spring River’s Got Talent; 2) Use the Treble Clef for the “S” in “Spring” ; 3) Use any medium you would like, such as paint, wood, canvas, fabrics, jewelry, photography etc.; 4) all art must be sturdy and held firmly together for display and, if needed, some kind of stand to show it; 5) Size: Any size is okay, but a larger size will be preferable.
To participate bring entries to the Hardy Civic Center the day before the event on Sept. 16 (Times to be Determined), the morning of Sept 17 at the Hardy Civic Center no later than 12 am,; or dropped off at Arts Center of North Arkansas in Cherokee Village (Thursday thru Sunday 11 a.m.-3 p.m.), or the Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce in Hardy (Tuesday thru Thursday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.).

The event will feature amazing local musical performers competing for a total of $2,000 in prize money. Doors will open at 1pm and performances begin at 2pm. Adult tickets are $15, students are $10:. Children 5 and under are free.
