Lyon College faculty members will present two fall recital performances Friday, Oct. 7, in Batesville and Saturday, Oct. 8, in Little Rock.
Friday’s recital is set for 7:30 p.m. in the Bevens Music Room of Brown Chapel on the Lyon College campus, 2300 Highland Rd., Batesville.
Saturday’s performance will be at 7 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 723 Center St., Little Rock.
The performances are free of charge and open to the public.
The recitals will feature Lyon College faculty members Jamie Weaver, violin; Barbara Reeve, cello; Fredrick Brown, clarinet; Kristian Ameigh, piano; Karen Cherwien, soprano; and Michael Oriatti, tenor.
Performances will include “The Ghost Trio” by Ludwig van Beethoven, “Shepherd on the Rock” by Franz Schubert, and art songs by Beethoven and Schubert.
