Christmas in the Village slated

The Annual Christmas in the Village will be held on Mon. Dec. 5 at Town Center in Cherokee Village.
The event includes the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony, shopping at the Christmas Bazaar, and a special visit from Santa.
The Highland Jazz Band will perform at 5:30 p.m. The Community Chorus will also be caroling during the event. The Arts Center gallery will be open and will also host photos with Santa.
The Christmas Bazaar will be held on Sat. Dec. 3, Artisan and Craft vendors will also be set up within the Innovation Hub from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The Bazaar will reopen for visitors to shop during the Christmas in the Village from 2 to 7 p.m.
Boy Scout Troop 639 and Girl Scout Troop 6-258 will also be selling hot chocolate and chili at the event.
Vendors will also offer funnel cakes, snow cones and kettle corn for sale at the free event.
