Sharp and Fulton Counties receive over $34,000 to help improve court security

Sharp And Fulton County both received Court Security Grants totaling over $37,000. The presentation was held on June 1 sat the Justice Building in Little Rock. Fulton County received $19,900 to purchase an X-ray scanner at the courthouse, which will be used to check for weapons and/or contraband as people enter the courthouse in order to keep everyone safe. Sharp County received a grant for $17,512. The grant funds will be used to purchase a keyless entry system, in-custody inmate transport restraints and a maglock system which will enhance safety for courthouse personnel, the public and law enforcement.
