Celebrate Hardy Memories topic of the Hardy History Association meeting

Hardy History Association is pleased to announce the quarterly meeting on Thursday, July 6, at the Hardy Gym located at 203School Street in Hardy. The City of Hardy was incorporated in July of 1894 so we gather in the month of July to “Celebrate Hardy Memories” at 5:30 p.m. with hotdogs, chips, birthday cake & ice cream. Following the time of fellowship and food our program will begin at6 p.m. HHA’s Living Legacy Program coordinators, Nannette Daugherty and Rebecca Ashcroft, have conducted interviews with people who grew up in Hardy and the surrounding area. These recorded memories span the decades and cover a range of topics. The July program features excerpts from a few of these recorded interviews along with shared memories from people in the audience that evening. Please join us for an evening of reminiscing.
