The Sharp County Extension Homemakers and Sharp County Master Gardeners will host Gardening and Barn Art on Feb. 22.

During the morning session, State specialist Randy Forst (Extension Educator Consumer Horticulture/Master Gardener Coordinator) will be doing a seminar over several gardening topics, with time for questions. 

In the afternoon session, Patty Markley (Barn Art specialist with art on the official Arkansas Trail of Quilts) will be leading a class on creating Barn Art and each participant will create their own to take home.  All the supplies will be ready. 

The gardening seminar is free and lunch will be served with a cost of $10, the barn art project will cost $20, or if you sign up for lunch and the barn art project it will cost $25. 

You MUST pre-register for lunch and Barn Art by Tues., Feb.18. Call the Sharp County Extension office at 870-994-7363 to reserve your spot.

There will be  door prizes, refreshments, and several handouts given.
