North Arkansas Electric Cooperative, along with the state’s 16 other electric cooperatives, will provide an all-expense-paid trip June 14-20 to Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia for a selected group of teenagers.
Planned stops include the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Smithsonian Institution museums, Arlington National Cemetery, U.S. Capitol and National Mall memorials.
The application is available for download at naeci.com/youth-tour. Applicants must be high school juniors during the 2024-2025 school year with a parent or legal guardian who is an NAEC member. After reviewing applications, NAEC will select applicants for interviews by outside judges to determine the winners. NAEC must receive applications by March 5.
