Ozarka College recently held Kids College this summer for students who will be entering grades two through seven this fall. Classes were June 5 – 8at Ozarka’s Melbourne campus.   Ozarka Kids College’s theme this year was “Step into our future,” and included a fun-filled learning ad-venture, futuristic style. Circuit Judge Kevin King was a graduate of Highland High School in 1972, the University of Arkansas in 1976, and the University of Arkansas School of Law in 1978. He served the counties of Sharp, Lawrence, Randolph, and Jackson counties as Circuit Judge of the Third Judicial District. Judge King was always concerned about the welfare of students. The Fulton County Fair Foundation awarded scholarships to five graduating seniors totaling $7,500. Scholarships were awarded to Lauren Skaggs and Savannah Chance of Mammoth Spring High School, Ashley Neal and Peyton Love of Viola High School and Adrianna Bagwell of Salem High School. Fair Foundation scholarships are fund-ed by the Decorated Cookie Jar Auction held during the Fulton County Fair and by do-nations.
