Arkansas State Police Fatal Crash Summary Devin Graham, 32, of Hardy, lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Fulton County on Sept. 28. Submitted by the Commissioner of State Lands The recent auction of tax-delinquent properties in Sharp, Fulton and Izard Counties raised nearly $750,000, the Commissioner of State Lands announced last week. The Sharp County auction drew 80 registered bidders, who purchased 514 of 553 available parcels for $261,526.49.; $91,142.97 in taxes were collected. Sharp County Sheriff’s Department sex offender compliance checks yield ten arrests
Tammy Curtis, Publisher A larger-than-usual law enforcement presence was seen in Sharp County last week as Sheriff Shane Russell and his deputies, along with other law enforcement agencies, conducted a three-day sex offender compliance roundup. Russell said the compliance checks resulted in multiple arrests involving sex offender registration violations, as well as drug, firearm and other offenses.
