Volunteers needed for CV litter pick-up
Volunteers needed for Cherokee Village Roadside Litter Clean-Up Volunteers are asked to meet a 9 a.m. on Sat. April 2 at the King Rhodes and Associates parking lot. Safety vests, trash bags and grabbers will be provided Donuts and coffee will be available for participants in the morning. A lunch will be provided for volunteers, following the clean-up.
Brandon Ryburn State Farm to award three “Good Neighbor Scholarships”
Brandon Ryburn State Farm Insurance will be awarding three $500 scholarships. The Brandon Ryburn Good Neighbor Scholarship will be given to three area high school seniors who capture the spirit of what it means to be a Good Neighbor. Scholarship applications will be available for pick up in the office on March 14 and must be returned by April 30, 2022.
