Cave City Athletic Hall of Fame and 2000 team recognized
2024 Cave City Athletic Hall of Fame KO James Distinguished Service Award Winner Alan Landers. Cave City School District honored the Cave City 2000 Boys Basketball State Runner-up team for the 25th anniversary of their season. Raffle to benefit Highland Trap Team
The Sportsman Edge is hosting a raffle as a fundraiser for the Highland Trap Team. Tickets are $50 each which are good for the total of four drawings. Prizes include a custom built shooting bench, a Ruger 10/22 with scope, a Ruger American .270 rifle and a Winchester SXP 12 guage Trap. There will only be 100 tickets sold. Highland Crowns Ross Winter Royalty Queen
Highland hosted their 2025 Winter Royalty on Jan. 31. Representing their classes were: Freshman: Leah Worthington and Piper Kendrick; Sophomores Abby Claxton and Chloe Lewis; Juniors Gale Gerodiano and Josie Sprinkle; and Seniors Dacey Stevens, Destiny Smith and Madie Ross, who was crowned queen.
