Members of Strawberry River Chapter, DAR are strong supporters of education which is one of the three objectives of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution.  Each year they present a chapter scholarship to a graduating senior in the tri-county area. Strawberry River Chapter met April 1 with 10 members present. Arkansas State Regent Gale Markley was our special guest. Following the opening ritual, delegates were elected to the upcoming Shawnee District meeting in May.
